Morning Immunity

Healthy skin begins with the first waking rituals performed. In the morning, it is important to stretch your body first thing upon opening those pretty eyes, on an empty stomach is key. Second, you have heard the hype of drinking hot water with lemon. Instead, I love drinking a hot cup of tea with a sweet fortune, some honey, and lemon to start my day.

Subsequently, I enjoy more than anything to drink a fresh shake for breakfast and then have brunch. Statistics prove that having frequent meals a day in smaller portions decreases the effort our body has to make to process the food we eat, therefore, we do not store unnecessary waste in our body.

pH is simply a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of our body’s fluids and tissues. It’s measured on a scale from 0 to 14. The more acidic a solution is, the lower its pH. The more alkaline, the higher the number. Understanding the acidity and alkalinity is important to know whether you are on track. As you can see you want to stay right in the center of 0 and 14. These are all keys to longevity and fighting chronic disease.
